However, governments and the food industry are working harder than ever to assure the safety of food through mandatory procedures.

Food is essential, and safety should be a top priority. Food safety is closely related to people's lives and health, economic development and social harmony. We must create a food safety system of self-disciplined food companies with integrity, effective government supervision and broad public support to improve overall food safety."

Food safety is under the spotlight worldwide, putting enormous responsibility on governments and businesses to protect consumers and customers. Keeping food safe however is a complex endeavor that is only getting more complicated. A crisis in this country can often affect the Consumers .
